Bingo 320: Bingo Machines |

There are a variety of different types of bingo machines in use. All the types of machines are basically a variation of two types. These types are the classic bingo ball machine and the entirely electronic machine. |
The classic bingo machine is a clear container that contains hollow balls much like ping-pong balls. Each ball has a number and letter corresponding to a possible section on a bingo card. There is one ball for each possible bingo combination. The balls may be released air blown through the container or the container may be spun until a ball is released, either electronically or manually. Similar types of machines are often used in lotteries. |

Electronic bingo machines are becoming more and more popular. Part of the reason for this is because electronic machines should be completely devoid of biased combinations. The traditional machines could have slightly irregular balls or other variables that could affect the outcome. A random number generator in the electronic machines selects the combinations that are called. This random number should not be affected by any outside variables. |

Online bingo uses the same sort of random generator as electronic machines. These generators are entirely random so don't be looking for any common pattern. Just because a combination hasn't been coming up doesn't mean it's due and just because a number has come up three games in a row doesn't mean it will be there the next game. |
